This week flew by SO fast!!!

Tuesday I went on an exchange back to Centreville again! I went with Sister Liu, who is from Taiwan. She's so cute!!! She's one of my favorite friends out here I think :) She's just so easy and fun to get along with!! Well, the majority of this exchange was spent cleaning the apartment so that the could move the following day. The lease in that apartment is up adn they're moving in with the Spanish Sisters that live in the complex. So it was kinda cool to help clean out the old apartment that I lived in over a year ago!
Wednesday we had exchanges with the sisters serving in the Catoctin and Hamilton wards. They cover the two biggest wards in the mission... which is crazy. I don't know why there aren't a set of missionaries for each ward... Oh well. I traded spots with Sister Gray, who came to Ashburn with Sister Savage. I went there with Sister Patten. She's the one I took a selfie with and posted it on facebook talking about how we got lost. haha. She's cute. Well, she's been struggling with her companion because she mostly keeps to herself. So I helped Sister Patten heart attack her! It was a lot of fun. So the sisters apartment is in Leesburg, which is about a 20-30 minute drive out of their area (again, I have no idea why)... their area is SO big that it takes 30 minutes to drive from one appointment to another. It literally drove me crazy. Haha. But what was even better was that their gps DIED on our way to visiting our last family for the night! AHH! I was driving because Sister Patten doesn't have a drivers license, and as soon as the GPS died, I saw a sign pointing toward Leesburg. After about 40 minutes, we made our way back to Leesburg, but since Sis. Patten was so new to the area, she didn't know how to get home! We had to wait in a Safeway parking lot for the Zone Leaders to drive to our rescue and lead us home. That was a humbling experience for sure!
Humbling experience number two: The next morning we were trying to exchange back, and I totally got lost TWICE. I thought I knew the way to Ashburn, but I ended up in a little town called Purcelville, which is not even close. Then I turned around and drove for a while....almost going into Fredrick, MD!!! YIKES! I almost left the mission! We finally called our companions and had them drive to us. After that, I refused to drive for the rest of the day! hahahaha. Humbling experience number three happened after we exchanged back and Sister Gray asked, "Did you check for the other GPS in the glove compartment?" she then reaches over and pulls out a fully charged GPS. Oh man. What a funny exchange!!!
At church we got to teach in the High Priests Group! Hahahahhahahaha!!! It was so fun! I love hanging out with funny old guys! It might be the only time I get to teach all the high priests! I was grateful for the experience! We taught them about the Faith
Cycle and invited them all to make a family mission plan to write down a name of someone they know that they could invite for each month of the year. That way they will be extending 12 invitations throughout the year to help their friends come closer to Christ.
Well. That's all for this week folks!
Love you all!
Love,
Sister Anderson
